Why is my device offline?
  1. Please check whether the household Wi-Fi network is connected to the internet or the Wi-Fi network name / password has been changed recently. If the Wi-Fi of the router does not work or the Wi-Fi network name / password has been changed after the device was successfully connected to the Wi-Fi, these will cause the device offline.
  2. Please check whether the device is switched on. The device will be offline if it is switched off. The device will be online within 1 minute after switched on again.
  3. Please reset the device and add it to the network again, if the issue is not solved after trying above 2 solutions.
How to reset my device?
  1. Switch on the device.
  2. Keep pressing the function button on the top of the device and then release it until you hear “Restore factory settings, please don’t power off.”
  3. Wait for approximately 30 seconds. The device is successfully configured if you hear “Wait to be configured.”.
Why the network is not successfully configured on the device, while the Wi-Fi signal bar is full? What is required on the Wi-Fi network? Does the device require a Wi-Fi extender?
  1. Please reset the device and carefully check whether the input Wi-Fi password is correct.
  2. Please make ensure that the “isolation” function of the router is not activated.
  3. Please make ensure that the Wi-Fi frequency band is 2.4GHz, the router is installed where has a good signal and the network bandwidth is over 4 Mbps.
  4. The extender is not needed, if there is a good Wi-Fi signal or the device is installed close to the router.
Why is the video choppy?
  • Please check whether the Wi-Fi network near the device has a good signal. An unstable Wi-Fi network will cause the videos to be choppy.
Where can I find the downloaded video files?
  1. The video files are saved in the “Downloaded Videos” on the app.
  2. The videos can also be saved manually in the photo album of the device operating system.
How long will the Event History be saved? How much RAM is required?Is it charged?
  1. Approximately 70 hours (the new event(s) will be saved and the most obsolete one(s) will be overwritten in circles according to the motion activation frequency of the operating ambient conditions.)

Where are the notifications saved?
  1. Notifications will not be saved.
  2. The recorded videos caused by the motion activation are to be found in the “Event History”.
How to update the app version?

How many user accounts can be set up on one device? How many users can share the same account?
  1. One single device can only be configured with one user account.
  2. There is no limit to the number of devices used on the app. As long as they are all using one account.
Why don’t I receive the notifications after “motion alerts” is activated?
  1. Please check whether the “Motion Sensitivity” under the “Motion Settings” is activated.
  2. Please check whether the notification permission of the operating system is authorized.
Why does the app crash sometimes?

Why does the LED light turn on at day time when there is someone passing by? Does the LED light turn on even if no motion is sensed?
  1. If daytime-mode is activated, the LED lights will turn on when the motion is detected during the day.
Why does the app display show nothing if I change the network during the live video?
  1. Quit the app, launch the app and try it again.

What is working range between the device and the router under normal conditions?
  • The working range of the device depends on the Wi-Fi signal strength.
If the LED light is activated, is the video recorded at night time in color?
  • No, it’s in black and white.
Can I zoom in and out of the video picture?
  • No. (temporarily)
Is the light brightness dimmable?
  • No. (temporarily)
Is it required to reset the device and reconfigure the network manually after a power outage? Does the device remember the network configuration prior to the power outage?
  • The device reconnects to the server automatically after the power restores.
